Don't become a LIABILITY yourself!!
The one major takeaway everyone has after reading the international bestseller “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by multi-millionaire Robert Kiyosaki is to maintain their assets and liabilities.
But,
You can very easily find people freely developing liabilities around themselves that anchor their financial and personal growths. These people develop these so-called “cool” addictions to narcotics, etc and spend around 5$ daily on these bad habits very easily. For e.g.:
A man who smokes 10 cigarettes a day worth 17Rs each easily spends around 200 Rs daily including the mouth freshener costs, etc.
This man has developed a liability out of himself as this above-mentioned example is of teenagers around me who very easily spend around 200*30= 6000Rs or 100$ of hard earned cash of their parent's money. This money if properly invested can pay off greatly and can become a great investment and we are not including the amount of time wasted here on these addictions.
The primary reasons these addicts give is that ‘it takes off the tension on their head’ whereas this tension could be very easily relieved by yoga, meditation, running, cycling, swimming, etc but rather these people waste their time and money on something which is wasting their health and doing this apparently is cool.
The mistake here is part of these people and partially is ours as a society. We let these big cigarette, liquor, etc brands manipulate the mindset of the generations to come into thinking that this stuff is cool whereas it’s an addiction which is robbing society of many talented smart individuals and destroying many innocent lives.
You might have heard of Elon Musk’s famous 1$ a day challenge where he lived on a dollar everyday only to see if that’s doable and to test himself if whether he can embark upon the path of entrepreneurship. If we adjust the inflation rates today this test will come up to 2$- 3$. If you really have any desire to become or getting into entrepreneurship then take this test first and analyze yourself accordingly because it’s not all fame and glory but thorns and hardships too.
I hope you understand this simple concept of assets and liabilities and make some good fortune for yourself.
Thank You
Rise and Shine!!
