An Engineer's Toolbox

 Engineers and Mechanics could be seen solving problems and fiddling with their toolbox since ancient times but as decades passed by our problems and the tools used to solve them have grown in complexity by leaps and bounds. 

As a Scientist working on an AGV at IIT Delhi I solve complex engineering problems ranging from material selection and structural analysis to vehicle dynamics and software programming. The toolbox required to do these things definitely isn't the one shown in movies. 


The above toolbox is used by the people who work on the manufacturing aspect of things and my toolbox looks something like this :

An Engineer's toolbox is more electronic and digital than ever but the fundamentals remain timeless and thus the recommendation that the best way to calculate anything is by your own hands.
