Run, swim, cycle. Repeat

Run, swim, cycle. Repeat

As the name suggests, this one is about physical fitness.

“A healthy mind resides in a healthy body”

You might have noticed that all the top CEO ’s, high earning self-made personalities are often quite conscious about their health and the above aphorism has already answered this.
I know that it is the heart and soul of a person that matters and

“Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.”

but our outer physique effects our perspective and lives drastically.

v     Just imagine being a short stout guy, a sort of fat-so and no confidence at all in sports and physical activities.
v     Now, imagine a guy with height 5feet10inches(not that tall but still better than 5feet), muscular build, great posture and a confidence to run 2km at a stretch or 25km of cycling or 800m of a swim.
Both the guys are same, the difference is just that both the guys have a difference of two years of age.

Cycling:

It all started with me buying a high-end mountain bike for myself just because I fancied one and then taking it on a ride for 10kms every day. This habit stuck with me and I eventually increased my stamina from 10kms per day to 20kms at stretch every alternate day.
Results:
I grew almost 10 inches in 2 years, lost almost 10kgs and gained a ton of self-confidence, self-respect and a solid work ethic.

Running:

“Have you ever met a guy who goes running 5.30 in the morning and doesn’t have his life sort out”
I read this somewhere on the internet and I have found myself in complete agreement with the above statement.
Running is what gave me that muscular, strong and sturdy build. Running helps you build muscle and more importantly tone your muscles.
The mental benefits of running are:

v     Self Discipline
v     Confidence
v     Goal Setter’s Attitude
v     Goal Achiever’s Attitude
v     Peace of mind
·    Running short distances with high intensity will help you build muscle and running long distances with normal intensity will help you grow leaner and taller.

Swimming:

“You should learn swimming if not already done so.”
Swimming 5 days a week is a habit you will cherish rest of your life.

Benefits:

v     Toned Body
v     Increased Stamina
v     Increased Height
v     Broader Chest
v     Strong shoulders and arms
v     Strong abdomen and torso
v     Increased lung capacity
and countless many more.

·    You may get sore muscles and may suffer pain then check your technique, posture and intensity.
·    Increase your lengths gradually not suddenly.
·    For sore muscles, dip a piece of cloth in warm water and massage your muscles with it. This method helps in relieving pain and is personally tested.

In conclusion, do inculcate all of these habits in your life and see yourself grow into a much better individual both mentally and physically.
Cheers!! to a new life.

Rise and Shine.
