Run for Fun!!
When we think of running we naturally think of people like
Usain Bolt (The Fastest Man on Earth in Short Distances)
or
Eliud Kipchoge(The Fastest Man on Earth in Long Distances)
and it is very natural to do so but always looking at running as a competitive sport has kept a lot of potential runners away from even starting their journey. Our society has made running a very competitive ruthless activity which should not be the case especially when this physical activity has been a source of happiness, fitness and discipline for a lot of people and has the potential to impact a lot more people.
Also, if you haven't noticed, we live in the 21st Century now and we have to shift our perspective and habits accordingly.

We don't get enough physical activity these days and therefore must make time for some sort of activity that gets our heart going and running I think is the cheapest, simplest and easiest way to do so. Just grab a pair of decent sports shoes and get going (I literally started my running journey this way and ran for a good 300 m before giving up and only a year later I was running 10 km marathons. Now, my running is just 4 km runs thrice a week and am planning to run my first 21 km half marathon at the age of 21 this year.)
My running gear:
My mentors, friends, inspirations and members of a Jaipur based running community called "Forever 20" :
Join a running community, identify yourself as a RUNNER, make it a habit and enjoy it, it has changed millions of lives and it can change yours too.
Bonus: Marathon running has helped raise millions in charity and here is one more example of it in the form of "Impact" app
