Failure, depression and recovery , 2016
It is said that three incidents in a man's life teach him the most namely Failures,Heartbreak and Bankruptcy.
In this passing year i.e. 2016 I encountered my life's first failure which struck me hard really really hard followed by chronic depression.
(I didn't knew it at that time this is one of the experience and I just faced a low tide in my life)
So basically several TedX talks, some great books and complete series of F.R.I.E.N.D.S later I was back on my feet and rocking it.

Rewinding to my past I was basically an above average kid at school who was not much into sports and had rather read biographies of Issac Newton and Thomas Alva Edison for inspiration ( yeah I was pretty much into physics at that time , I still am).
Given this my parents had high hopes and were expecting me to get into a fancy college and like millions of other kids I didn't met the cut and everybody was left shocked. Mom (herself being a pretty ambitious women ) got frustrated and as a result I suffered badly.

I was confused where I went wrong. After a lot of introspection and few cups of coffee later I was already lamenting and smiling on my failure.
I stopped improving myself. I studied like any average student would do and covered average study hours so the results were obvious - Average.
● You need to push harder and smarter to go big .
Some other things like I understood the importance of self improvement and started acquiring good habits like books , TedX talks, improving my physique and trust me a better personality and physique can do wonders.
So in retrospect I won't say whether it was a wonderful or a bad year but I am pretty sure it counts to be an important one.
